Day off

I had a good day off this week. In the morning I went to the doctor, that wasn't good. When I got done my daughter and I went to her gymnastics class. It's pretty cool to watch her be part of a class and interacting with other kids. We stayed late so she could get some extra time on the trampoline. From gymnastics we ran some errands at the hardware store and did some shopping at the grocery store.

When we were there my daughter wanted to look at the lobsters and the guy at the counter took out the lobster so we could touch him and look at him. It was very cool, my daughter was wide eyed in amazement. At the deli counter they gave us cheese to snack on.

In the afternoon my daughter and I watched a Disney classic before nap time. Fairy dust can make you fly according to Peter Pan. In the movie Peter says flying is easy and gives each kid some of tinker bells dust and they can fly all night off to never never land. This is the first time I looked at the movie with mature eyes. The drug references are rampant. I really enjoyed snuggling on the couch eating popcorn drinking juice and watching Peter triumph over Captain Hook.

Again I say, I love the photo blogging you have been doing lately. I am seriously thinking of trying some of it myself, just doubt it will have as good an impact as it does for you.

Sounds like an awesome day. I love the photos too - I'm a latecomer - so pardon if you've already gone over this- but what kind of camera do you use? Something simple I guess...but it works wonderful!

I use a HP photosmart 435. I paid $75 for it. I am having a lot of fun with it. From what I read the camera really doesn't matter. The one I'm using eats batteries like thaat's it's job.

Why don't you get the rechargables? That's what I use or else my camera would take about 6 pics and then spit 4 AA's out.
